TWHC supports initiatives to improve maternal health and reduce instances of maternal and infant mortality in Texas.
TWHC members both provide maternal health care to Texas women and advocate for policy & regulatory changes to improve the healthcare systems in our state. Some of our work is supporting the recommendations of the Maternal Morbidity & Mortality Review Committee and participating in the Texas Collaborative for Healthy Moms and Babies.
