Legislative Staffer Lunch & Learns- Preventative Women’s Health
The TWHC team, the Texas Medical Association, the SAFE Alliance, and the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault (TAASA) partnered to host our second lunchtime educational session for Texas Legislative Staffers in early 2024. The SAFE Alliance gave a presentation on emergency contraception, STI testing and treatment, and other women’s health issues. Afterward, the SAFE team gave us a tour of their forensic clinic and talked about how they support survivors of sexual assault.
